Is the Savior of the world in your life's story? Every well constructed screenplay contains two very important elements, conflict and resolution. Every life ever lived has the same two things, conflict and resolution. An ideal life is not one without conflict, because that is impossible, but the ideal life would be to have a resolution for every single conflict. Since the very beginning, mankind has been busy seeking out ways to solve his conflicts. In addition to that we spend the majority of our finances and the majority of our time finding ways to make our lives more comfortable. People look to new relationships to make life more appealing or a new job or maybe a bigger home or car. A pursuit of these types of things along with setting out to solve all of our own trials can give us a false sense of security. We have become our own gods in our own heaven. We have ignored, by being preoccupied with ourselves the cry of our souls. . . Why am I here? Who has allowed me to exist? Beyond this life is there something or nothing? We must take the initiative. Our minds, hearts and our souls belong to us. The writer of the book of Psalms says” Why are you downcast, O my soul? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God.” Do you have a sense that your soul is without hope? Have there ever been times in your life when you have believed that God could really exist. Did you ever consider the possibility that He has a customized plan for your life? I have, and I truly feel that this is a great thing; He exists and really cares for me. There is an ongoing conflict within many people today. THE CONFLICT: is acknowledging the cry of our soul for rest, while doing everything we can to ignore it. THE RESOLUTION: Jesus Christ the Savior of our soul.
